Ferryman’s, the Original Waterfront Tavern, was one of the first tenants in V&A Waterfront. A popular local spot for traditional pub fare and live bands. This historical old locomotive shed has been carefully converted, preserving the quarried bluestone, the Oregon wooden beams and the solid teak pillars adding to the atmosphere of the downstairs bar with its stone fireplace. In summer, the open beer garden / terrace buzzes with local entertainment every weekend, and for the sports fans big-screen TVs. There is also a play area for the kids.
